The SilQ+ nebulizer is made from the highest purity synthetic quartz. SilQ+ nebulizers have low levels of Al, Fe, Mg and other contaminants, generating low, stable blanks that can enhance ICPMS detection limits. They are recommended for the analysis of high-purity chemicals that do not contain HF.
MEINHARD® OneTouch nebulizers include patented 100% fluoropolymer gas connectors and integrated fluoropolymer peristaltic pump sample lines. The gas and sample lines are ultraclean, chemically inert, and manufactured to the exact length specific for each instrument model. MEINHARD® OneTouch nebulizers are ready to install and ready to offer high performance with ease of use.
This ultra-high purity quartz nebulizer was developed for ICPMS. This nebulizer reduces the potential background from minor and trace elements in the nebulizer. It features a capillary that is flush with the nozzle face so the nebulizing gas can freely expand with minimal turbulence and droplet coagulation. That yields the smallest mean droplet size, and the greatest sensitivity for solutions having a low or moderate level of dissolved solids. With moderate to high TDS, the pergo accessory is recommended to humidify the carrier gas, to minimize the build-up of obstructive material near the gas annulus, and to maximize production.
Each nebulizer is manufactured and tested to exact specifications. The SilQ+ nebulizer requires 50 psi for 1 L/min of argon carrier and 0.5 mL/min solution uptake.
